History
Henke Auction Service began operating in 1993. We began with a small staff doing primarily household and estate auctions. Today, our staff has expanded, and so has our repertoire of auction experience. We have conducted many auctions on both large and small scales. We have also had the opportunity to perform several charity auctions to benefit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross and numerous local churches. Richard Henke, owner and auctioneer
Richard is originally from Salisbury, Mo. He graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1967. He started his career selling livestock for the Central Missouri Livestock Center in Mexico, Mo., where he worked until 1995. Richard has experience in selling real estate at auction. In addition to managing Henke Auction Service, Richard sells livestock each week at Eastern Missouri Livestock, Bowling Green, MO.

Sharon Henke, owner and bookkeeper

Sharon Henke

Sharon, a Mexico, Mo., native, currently works for Teva Pharmaceuticals in human resources. She is an asset to the Henke Auction Service because she maintains all of the records and works in both clerk and cashier capacities. Sharon is also involved in the community. She serves on both Relay for Life and United Way committees.

Doug Henke, auctioneer

Doug began with Henke Auction Service as a ring man. In 1996, he graduated from the Missouri Auction School. Doug is also a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Agriculture Education. Currently, Doug is a vocational agriculture teacher in Boonville, Mo.

Carey joined the auction firm upon her marriage to Doug in June, 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri and works full-time for MFA, Incorporated, Columbia, MO.
